Ab Obscurities ad Lumen

Ab Obscuricates ad Lumen (from darkness  to  light). Penland Gallery, Penland  N.C. September ‘02. Technically, a work consisting of forty-five units; fabric,  ink,  aluminum mesh, 10’steel rods, white and red LED lighting technology which were composed of two curved intertwining lines. Conceptually, this work was really a continuation of Lanterns from the Dance. The fabric marks were created with the assistance of children who were being treated for HIV.
